90 Varas is our latest collection to bring you a stunning piece of Spanish heritage! The wool for this line is sourced entirely from Merino sheep raised along the traditional shepherding routes of the Cañada Real Conquense. The name 90 Varas refers to the standard width of these roads established in 1273 that have been traveled by flocks of Merino for centuries. We created this yarn with fleeces from six different flocks to support the shepherds working year round to keep transhumance practices alive.
